Ha ha I know right! Apparently it’s down to the underwriters. I’m 52 and been riding years with full no claims. I’ve just got to garage it until I can change insurers. I’ll get a fresh quote and sack Ramasis off soon as I have time.

Excellent question. I think it’s down to the dealer when registering for the first time what the exact description is. I would never have thought to ask then to make sure it’s documented correctly to avoid future pointless arguments about authenticity.
That’s all that was in my pack, that and a spare key. Not that I ever read any of the other stuff apart from the service booklet.
Ducati don’t supply a service book now as all of that is now computerised. And I’ve just received my v5………it’s just referred to as a Panigale V2. But it’s down as multi coloured
I'd personally buy a service book from the dealer. When warranty runs out and say you end up using an Independant specialist, at least you'll have a stamped book.
