V4 V4r Superleggera

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Chillo, Nov 20, 2019.

  1. I can’t find a rating or emoji for green with envy!

Who are you all kidding? I know if I had the money I would have 2 of each of every Superleggera and exotic model I could get my hands on!

One to ride - and one to stick in it’s own rotating glass display case......in my dormant volcano lair....on my island....

Hmm....I’m thinking too small.....I’d buy the VW Audi group.....and have them make me my own GP bike....and then buy Phillip Island...not just the circuit....the whole island.

and then build my own volcano

    for my lair :imp:

  3. I guess it keeps it exclusive but no price for just the bike only???

I'd rather have the track time on a GP bike TBH and have some form of team working on the bike through the day

  4. £130k gets you Rutter's RCV.

  5. I can see Ducati becoming a company that just sells exclusive bikes to a few. How sad.

  6. I think these days they are quite good at creating product lines for (almost) all pocket sizes.
They are just raising the upper bound a bit more every odd year. :p

  8. in a way that’s what they’ve always been ?

    That’s what makes them special

  9. They are owned by Audi who still make decent rip snorting crazy fast cars of which I admire as this pathetic world of millennials and sock puppets like that Greta thing are not stopping them and it looks like that strive for wild fast and crazy prices has rubbed off on the new Audi/Ducati marketing team “the king is dead long live the king” all hail them for defying the snowflake world.
I love it and hope they keep doing it for many years otherwise we will all be riding shitty bikes akin to the current crop of shitty soulless Asian SUV’s that are infesting our roads or the glorified milk floats like that Tesla shit.

  10. Yep I agree Advikaz, back to their roots, there seems to be a real sense of entitlement here that people should have a Ducati 'on the cheap' Ducati are not Honda or Yamaha or Suzuki ...... they are making a premium product in quite limited numbers in global terms and that comes at a cost we pay, its the same as a Ferrari or Maserati, truth is if you can't afford it, you can't afford it,but don't bleat, I can't afford one, same way I can't afford a 911 GT3 but that's life ...... all this 'true cost' bollocks, no one gets anything for its true cost, are SS Rolex Sports watches worth what they are trading at when viewed purely as watches, of course not, but you want a Rolex, then get your money out.

  11. I've heard that thing at full chat. Ear porn

  12. You wont be buying, you'll probably be getting 3 laps on one

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  13. Most likely a severely restricted one. They don’t even allow the top line journos a ride on them these days.

  15. This makes an SL1 @£54K a bargain. Most can't sell the 1299SL they have. I'd rather have a Desmo and change.

  16. That'd be amazing if you had the spare cash
Although I expect it'll be a very watered down bike (so they don't kill off many of their customers) , that's still something that money can't normally buy and got to be right up there on the dream list of any bike racing fan

  17. Wonder how much it would be if the Desmo had actually won the world championship this year. ;)

  18. Question is, anyone else getting one? Or is this price a bridge to far?

  19. The 1299 Superleggera wasn't watered down. A very experienced rider I know, remarked that it was the only bike he had ridden that they he would not ride at full throttle and the electronics package was keeping riders from being deposited in a hedge. Andy
