Hi does anyone know the socket / spanner size to remove the engine valve breather on a multistrader ds1100.2008. Cheers steve
If you have a cheap vernier gauge measure across the flats of nut/bolt, metric A/F I presume? If not buy a cheap set of spanners.
Assuming it is the black plastic breather? (because the previous ally breathers used a C spanner) then it is 50mm across the flats. Even if you have a 50mm spanner, I doubt it would fit as it would be a fairly hefty bit of kit and there's not much space round that area, probably a pair of grips is best.
