Almost missed a throw away comment during the BT commentary of free practice 2, that the VR46 and Avintia Moto3 teams are merging for the 2021 season. Anyone else picked up on this or have I missed an official announcement ? Andy
Just what was discussed on BT Sport in the last 7 days. I don't think that it'll be official until Tito Rabat has confirmed that he won't be in MGP in 2021. This is when Luca Marini is supposed to be taking his Ride alongside Bastiannini who is also yet to be announced. Probably the worst kept secret in MGP Paddock. However Avintia, have signalled that they'd like to leave MGP and VR46 has been looking at sponsorship options with a view to taking their spaces on the grid from 2022.
