Just try and get a ride on one. Even if it’s an 848 and 1098 Superbike, which are more likley to be around to test. Engine is same.
Test rode a 848 SF today, power felt good but couldn't really test it properly, can't see it scaring me tbh. Thepower is so linear and torquey you take off without even realising the speed you're doing, whereas you can really feel my Daytona pick up and get into its powerband, not saying it's quicker but it gives an illusion of acceleration (hope that makes sense) would be really good to try and ride a 1098 if I can and compare the two.
1098 is just loads more midrange, front wheel in the air in almost any gear off the gas at barely any revs. Tend to be ridden under 6k, where 848 tends to be ridden over
