Same here, but paid 0.50 per litre this year so it's a little bit more palatable, when I'm in I'm keeping the wood burner going which helps a lot.
Bright, dry but cold here today..............just right for a blast......................if it wasn't for some grandchildren that we are looking after................ .............God knows who's they are, though..........
The guy that puts fires out, oh I see. Isn't google great. No, I need the oil to burn, its not worth listening to the 'I'm cold' comments.
Been to the parents in Southport for two days, nice and sunny with damp roads only to return home in the Peak District and have three attempts to get up the estate to our house, four inches of packed ice and snow hampering progress. Steve
wicked day out on the 990. -2 at 0800. plenty of ice about in the lanes but manageable on the old crosser! thermals, and few layers under my rev it top and trousers did a superb job. heated grips were a bonus. She's getting cleaned and parked up now for a while. got some parts to fit and a service to do.
Lovely sunny day, dipped to 3°C, bitslippy out, but no issue for the Mutley. Managed 100 miles, before I turned in.
Not a cloud in the sky all day and now -1 sat in the car at fareham station. So be -8 tonight 5 miles inland
