Enjoyed it. Won’t spoil it....
Seems like Maori communities are simply poor and dysfunctional. Every movie I’ve seen has been the same. When we went on hols there, the locals we spoke to warned against certain areas.
Can’t imagine it’s true: everyone we spoke to seemed perfectly pleasant in our 3 weeks of sightseeing

 

Watched The Man From UNCLE on Netflix last night. It’s quite good. Nothing too heavy, lighthearted, droll, and entertaining.

I am watching The King Croesus Contempt for Death trip 2009.
2 mad Norwegians riding around the whole world on 70 year old Nimbus motorcycles.

My wife was crying by the end of it, as there are a few small clusters in NZ that are exactly the same. Reminded me of pikeys in some way too! Very funny with a bit of tragic reality. We have an area up north from us where you just dont go. Even the cops are reluctant to go in there. But there is a big unfriendly sign warning you as well so...

 

I could see why some would get emotional. I kept waiting for the ‘bad’ bit.
