  5. Any good.

Looks a bit different to the normal stuff I read and I fancy a change.

  6. The One Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out Of A Window And Disappeared,
Read it a while back, quick and funny.

  7. The Crow Eaters.
Highly entertaining read set in Pakistan.

  8. Really good, it's a series of books, the first one is called Dissolution.

  9. 'To die in spring' (Ralf Rothmann). Crap title I know, but a superb book on a par with 'The Reader' (Bernhard Schlink) and 'A Meal in Winter' (Hubert Mingarelli). All 3 are very dark WW2 stories from the German perspective, but so well written it feels like you're there watching.

  12. I’ve read that, the ending’s shite. :)

  13. I love a happy ending

  14. Where my little squirrel gone, cyclops?

  15. Cyclops ate him

  16. Thought that’d happen.
Everyone enjoys a nice bit of squirrel!

  17. Thought I’d resurrect this thread seeing as a lot of us have time to kill.

Just read David Millar’s Book Racing through the dark and now onto Bad blood by Jeremy Whittle about performance enhancing drugs in the pro cycling world.

  20. Berserker Base

An anthology from Fred Saberhagen and some of my favourite sf/fantasy authors. Including a story from Stephen R Donaldson that I had never read or even heard of.
