Boilerhouse garage have just published a re-test of Tesco Momentum 99 E5 fuel. Bad news, it appears that the ethanol content of this fuel is now up to 4.0%, probably due to the dumping of unlimited quantities of corn alcohol from the USA under the latest trade deal. Another video from the same channel shows that Tesco E10 fuel is now up to 8% ethanol. I'm guessing that other supermarkets will follow suit, if they haven't already. I'm off to investigate Ethanol Removers.
Still using E5 from local forecourts, out and about in Welsh Wales it is difficult to find it in more rural locations. We're building a mental math on where the locations are that stock it.
