What Have They Done Now?

Discussion in 'Monster' started by mrH, Dec 2, 2020.

  1. Yes, the 937 lump out the mutley/motard

  2. The 937 engine is one of Ducati's best ever.

  3. I wont be surprised if they hot this model ip a bit if it sells ok. 111 hp from a 937 is kinda average, and down a couple from the Multi even tho the compression is higher(according to motorcyclespec). They could easily wrangle some more ponies from this rodeo! And then go the whole std, "S" and "R" route
The big stonking V twins are what keeps Ducati going, and they have a great range of them. If the japs made bikes like this, they would sell too!

  4. I'd trade my 1200S in for a new lighter Monster with the V2 engine which is not the one fitted to the new Monster 1000 or the Supersport. I had a Supersport and personally found it a bit short of go, nice engine though.

  5. I quite like it. I thought the Monster was due a big revamp and the new one looks like it’s much more up with the times.
    Each to their own.
