My Father didn’t listen to much music really he didn’t seem that interested. But this reminds me of an Eight track player he had in his pickup truck, such a great sound created on this track. Thanks for reminding me of a track I hadn’t thought of in ages nor heard.
I never really listened to them, and then this album was suddenly everywhere. I was 16, it was summer, and California girls sounded great!
I remember how Pet Sounds never got the recognition it deserved on release for several reasons, some understandable but luckily a lot of people realised how revolutionary it was later on. I have got the single Heroes and Villains kicking around somewhere, I'd heard it on the radio at x* years old and really liked it. *12
