I definitely forgot the John Lennon song - as ridiculous as that sounds! Actually its my joint fave with Greg. Though Eric Idles little ditty does deserve a dishonorable mention.I don't think I've ever heard Joni's Xmas tune before.
one reminded me of the other in the theme - simply unattainable and full of confusing mystery, might be why Billy Joel came to include some of the lyrics in:-

Makes me think of "Galveston" that got most success with Glenn Campbell in a mainly uplifting style although the original writer was actually prodding the thinking behind Vietnam in reality.
