What other life essentials can you strap to a bike?

  1. This ......

  2. Chacun a son gout, but thank you for answering my question Lucazade.

  3. Can I point out it's pear cider on the back of the bike, it's not real cider is it?

  4. You won't be disappointed :)

  5. You can and not going to argue but flavour is good. On the other hand do not see any of you ridding around with box of beer/cider strapped to end of bike ;)

  6. You're right but I can't figure it out.
If it says "Pear" in English, why doesn't it say "Cider" in English?
In fact, why doesn't it say "Perry"?

Then again, if it says "Cidre" why doesn't it say "Poire" instead of "Pear"?

I think the only explanation is that Stella Artois is Belgian. The Belgians are reputedly not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

  7. Trying to get back on topic?

  8. There is a guy that goes to Squires Bike Cafe, dont ask me what type of bike it is as im not entirely sure but it is a sit up and beg style. He has a wooden box on the back firmly placed........when he gets off he opens the box and out jumps his Jack Russell! Absolutely brilliant!

  9. I had an organic cider from Asda recently (I forget the make) and that was very nice. I do find cider more refreshing than beer on a hot day, but it can't be thick still scrumpy for that - not refreshing at all.

  10. Ooooh Ooooh, I can answer that. Perry is made entirely from pears, a la babycham and lambrini. Pear cider is made with pears and apples...

Provided the manufacturer is sticking to the proper designations:)

  11. To much info ;)

  12. Thanks. But still doesn't explain weird language mix. Assuming brand manager was having a bad day.
