If he goes to Yamahaha I hope he gets a top 3 in his first race to shut some of the doubting Toms. Only guessing but I would think it is very difficult for Rossi to really speak his mind about Ducati without touching a nerve with his fellow Italians. I think he has possibly been let down by Ducati in that he has made clear demands but certain senior figures at Ducati have pretty much taken little notice, after all he is only a racer and what does he know about engines! Rossi has always said he wanted a tamer engine and yet the fact that he was fastest through the speed traps proves his point somewhat. I think it was always a mistake for him to go to Ducati from the very start. What would you do in his shoes? He is a racer and all he wants to do is win races. Do you think his best chances of that are going to be with Ducati or Yamaha? It's all very well to say he should give Ducati more time but he has already given them two years and he probably only has two years left to give - if he's lucky. So what would you do if you were in his shoes? Chris.
I love it how we write these fictions. Making up entire stories based on characters we know no better (rather less well) than James Bond or Sherlock Holmes. It's great entertainment. We invent their emotions and motivations, create entire conversations and lives for them. Sort of vicarious MotoGP, isn't it?
What do you mean? Me and my mate Vale are best mates, he often calls me of an evening to share his problems and ask advice... Chris.
I doubt it, Im guessing if he moves to either there will me a massive cheer coming from the general direction of Italy
More speculation gazzetta dells sport reports 2 year deal for Rossi with Yamaha then to WSB with them also
From what i have heard Ducati Motogp are still under the illusion that you build a big fast fuck-off motor, stick some forks on the front and swingarm on the back, attach two wheels and you have a winning Motogp bike. If that's true it's no wonder Rossi is close to telling them to stick it.
