  14. My favourite item of all time was an old, torn-up and patched pair of jeans which I had stitched to a second pair of jeans. People called them my double-denims. Various friends and acquaintances sewed additional patches to the jeans. Must have had nearly forty patches sown onto them in the end.

    I sewed denim patches to a pair of boots I used to wear, one day, for a laugh. A mate used to tell people I had patched my boots and everyone used to tell him he was hallucinating - which I confirmed, informing people my mate was crazy. He got really pissed off about it. Good times.

  20. it lasted at least 15 years, doubling as a kitchen floor mat when not being worn. Should've lasted longer I know, but my mother was over exuberant with bleach in those days.....
