Wheel Still On Ground

  1. anyone shed some light on why the wheel is still on the ground please.:thinkingface:

  2. Had this on the 959 as the bobbins sit lower than the R6 - had to use the oxford paddock stands or taller ones for wheel changes on it

  6. The drop hooks are your problem, that stand is not suitable. Andy

  10. Yeah seen people do it, but its a pain to keep them in place and no where near as stable - think would look at Andy's suggestion of taller stands/upright hooks

    The oxford ones worked for me (Silver ones - the other ones wont) as they had the same config as per Andy

  13. You either need to shorten the bobbin hooks or extend the length of the paddock stand arms.

  17. Take a look on the Demon Tweeks site ,as there are some decent stands for not silly money on there ,
