Wheel Still On Ground

Build a small bit of decking around it with a slot in it for the wheel.

 

I wanted a stand for an ebike rear wheel so I could run/setup the motor whilst static.

I had an old motorbike front paddock stand that I wasn't using but, given that a bicycle uses a larger diameter wheel it was too low, so I extended the wheel fixings with a couple of short box section lengths.

Basically just cut & drilled for removable height extension;

 

With a slot in it for the wheel.

 

Well yes but you could end up with a light patch where it was.
Equally annoying

 

Good.
Mine didn't leave a residue just a lighter looking patch than the surrounding area.
Though that was on the plastic chain guard and was not the chain tension label but the tire pressure one.
So differences i guess.
