Traffic!.....none of that matters on a bike!...doesn't matter if Bristol is gridlocked ( which it usually is) in fact one of the most satisfying things about bike ownership is navigating through very heavy traffic....I almost use it as training, weaving through traffic at low speed without putting my feet down...zed is the best for this followed closely by the hyper...
Rode for about four hours on Saturday and a couple of hours Sunday. It was overcast, cold and raw but the roads were dry. That's all I need. Don't mind cold and summer rain but winter mud and filth is just pointless. Haven't got any winter gloves. Saturday I was riding with heated seat and grips but on Sunday I took the Superduke out which has none of that stuff and picked up some new Rukka Virium gloves ready for next year's trips. Shit my hands were cold when I got home but it was worth it.
Took me 45 mins this morning to grit/dig my way out of the courtyard, then I had to park half a mile from the office as the car couldn't get up the bank to the industrial estate. Still.......I'm here now.

Clear skies, but still a bit chilly here in Petersfield. Took a wander around the garden and our bee hives just starting to show signs of activity so that's my reminder to torque up the bolts as spring is nearly here. And need to get the 899 booked into Snells for it's annual.
