Which Bike Do You Most Regret Selling ?

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Richard H, Dec 26, 2012.

  1. It was a special order Red 748 mono posto,Duck 2002. But I do think back to my high school day's and my blue smoke 250 Rd and 350rd both with chambers and clip-on's.

  11. I would have thought that was a good move, why did you regret it?

  12. Never got on with it for some reason. After having 2 rd500 for a few years, for some reason I just didn't like it. The Rg was probably the better bike but for looks, the rd was miles ahead.

  17. Good to know, I always thought my RZ350LC was a better all rounder than the 500

  18. Weren't the RZs a bit down on power compared to the RDs? Not that it matters much. IIRC the alloy frame on the RZ 500 was 30 X 20mm. I bought some alloy tubing the same size and welded it together making a delta box frame. Again, no real benefits, just messing around at work. :)

  19. RZ/RD were steel frames, but in Japan they had alloy framed RZV that were the same motor but restricted to meet their nanny state laws. I think the designation was RD for Europe, but Australia, USA, was RZ.
