  1. well ive gone a bit mental with my engine to be honest, but the total bill is around the 3500 mark, but ive got my self a set of 748 sps cams, titanium pankl rods and 853 pistons aswell so it did bump the cost up a bit..

  9. Prob not then!

  10. That should be a very nice engine, I would love to see what difference the sps cams make, my 853 just loves to rev as it is.

  11. @ Birdie, yeah its going to be a tip top engine not massivly powerfull but very useable and smooth, gas flowing the heads aswell while its apart, lightening the fly wheel and crank to to compensate for the ti rods, SPS cams better than R cams apparently, not sure why but jeff seems to think so.

  12. My sons 748 SPS with 748R pistons, built by CJS. 115 rear wheel BHP. CJS RACING Dyno ECU Flash Mapping Bristol Ducati Cylinder Heads Gas Flow That might give you some idea performance wise, cost then was £2,500 for a full ground up rebuild with the work detailed plus balanced crank etc etc.

SPS cams are probably more of a realistic option for most set-ups and no belt changes every year!
