Would You Buy A V4 Monster?

No,I prefer the simplicity of the original M900

Yep. I hired a V4 Pani for a track tuition day last year and while it was amazingly fast and capable it just left me a bit cold tbh. When my son (then 17 and just getting on two wheels) asked me what I thought about it and whether I’d get one I told him it felt like a PlayStation game and no I wouldn’t.

 

As someone starting to eye up a Monster, and about 6' tall, can I ask: from what model year did they shrink?

 

I’m 5’11 1/2”, I have a 2016 Monster 1200s and it’s fine. I’ve done really long touring rides on it too.

 

All I can say is the "R" is the tallest. I've added the comfort seat where it's even higher.

 

Probably not, I like the oldest style best.
