I have had my new to me st4 for two weeks now and I have only just noticed it got the wrong seat on it. It has got a date sticker 2002 the bike was registered 2008. The underside of the seat has two locating claw like style but they are not lining up with the frame. Any ideas welcome Cheers dave
I’m sorry to be the one to break bad news, Ducati stopped assembling the ST4 in 2003 so the date stamp of 2002 would be entirely appropriate. You can download the parts catalogue from Ducati here, http://www.ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do. I would also look at the ST2 and ST4S parts list. Andy
Seat does fit turned out the claws have been bent due to not Engaging in but on top off their location slot. So a bit of heat and bending them back into shape all good. Great result
