Scott Redding on the V4 in wsbk would have been interesting, take Rea and Dave out of wsbk and Lowes might have a chance, take MM, Dovi out of gp and Cal might have a chance . You can only beat what is put in front of you.
Surely the idea is to strive to beat the best if Dovi & MM were out of Moto GP Rossi would be world champion
What I was trying to say is there are plenty of good British riders at world level that given the right package could well be world champions, they are in the championships on merit because they are some of the best riders in the world.
There's a big difference between a good rider and an exceptional rider we lack potential exceptional riders
