And yet again they let it happen. State pension is what 160 odd a week. Bit of a disgrace that. But hey, it is what it is, everyone gets private pensions thinking it will help, then they say, it’s not really worth what we said it’s going to be worth. But the government sits back and of course protects the financial industry. Jez it’s depressing, I’m goin to just be in blissful ignorance. Oh and what age am I expected to work to before I get state pension. Ffs I will be in some state working until that age. I pity my employer.
where exactly are all the jobs for people aged 60 plus ?? better to let people retire earlier, remove all they career blockers sitting in jobs past their use by date and allow younger people to move up the career chain and then create openings at the bottom end for school leavers the £160 a week pension is far cheaper than the alternative of the unemployed young never getting a start in life and having a lifetime on welfare handouts
Did you not have grandad rights as surely when you joined the firm, you were contracted under the old pension ??
Same as me. I avoid all ‘news’ as it’s rarely actual news but rather somebody’s opinion on a matter or event.
All pension accrued to date is protected with a 2.5% a annual increase added going forward. When you take into account a usual annual rise of 3% and a merit progression raise of another 3% annually, my pot won't grow at anywhere near the rate of what my final pensionable salary will be.
A victory for common sense! Colin the lollipop man is told he CAN high-five the kids as council admits it was wrong https://a.msn.com/r/2/BBIXhpS
But wait, it gets worse, have you seen what that bastard fictional book and film character Peter Rabbit has been up to ? I have pasted the trendy lefty Guardian version for fear that the nasty, spiteful and evil right wing offerings may just be too much to take. Strange that nobody complains about made up Star Wars characters causing death and mayhem but when an equally fictional rabbit starts throwing blueberries its all too much. https://www.theguardian.com/film/20...ilm-criticised-for-depicting-allergy-bullying
Yeah. Going forward, it's a CARE (Career Average Related Earnings) pension scheme. Every accrued year will then have a 2.5% increase applied to it every year afterwards along with my pot when the scheme changed. But when you consider I usually get a 6% rise per year, this is a hit. My retirement plans were based on what I believed I was going to get based on those figures. the new scheme definitely hits me negatively.
Mate, that sucks, but if it helps you out, I'll give ya 20k for that desmo, can't say fairer than that eh
I can see the difference too. Star Wars features human characters doing what humans sometimes do, starting wars, invading, killing each other etc where as the Peter Rabbit film features very large , dressed, talking rabbits that have have either got opposable thumbs or they have mastered the art of scooping up fruit to fling at people. Maybe instead of complaining or boycotting the film some children with relevant allergies will learn to make sure they always carry their epi pen with them and some others will learn not to dress up as bunnies and throw fruit in the same way that I learned not to sit in a moving car waving a loaded gun at someone by watching Pulp Fiction.
Excellent reply thank you but if I may respond by slightly tweaking your earlier post :- To be honest I can see the difference between Alien characters and Pulp Fiction, the Alien universe bears no relation to our own lives whereas Pulp Fiction is a fantastical version of our own world and the scenes could cause distress to hit men or lead to imitated behaviour with potentially disastrous consequences.
Thinking of setting up a Just Giving page for distressed Hitmen, I take it I can count on your support. By the way, not wishing to be petty but surely piercings are better performed with a nail than a razor ?
