Just as long as you don't actually have a shotgun... If you do, even that notice, if seen and reported given the state of policing these days, could get you in deep water I imagine. Of course, given your career, you'll know the full extent of the law but I wouldn't want to test the theoretical use of a shotgun to defend property.
I sold my shotguns a couple of years ago. Ironically, I wouldn’t have put that notice up if I still had them as that’s the sort of thing that will get your license revoked.
