Yes well we of course are in summer and Perth has a dry heat. Here is a readout from my weather station from the 22/12, a recent hot day with a max of 39.8C so you folks do need to prepare.
Well these are very common (Huntsman spiders), they are not poisonous although their size can scare. They stay high up on the wall, you give them a blast with fly spray, they drop and you smack them with a shoe. Lots of people are against that because thay are harmless and take them outside ... I just can't be stuffed and the Mrss is is scared to death of them.
Wooooooo! Hear that, “ My weather station” ... Us poor poms and Cockney poms meanwhile, have to make do with sharing our few weather presenters between the all of us! We do get the odd Shelia presenter mind who’s barometric peaks and troughs bring warm fronts to our day... and for those of a different climate of course there’s alwYs Tomasz Schafernaker macker knaker.....
