Thanks again. Paul actually took some oil out, and so it hasn’t used any oil since the last service which must be nearly 6/700 miles ago at least. So it’s probably just happened. I’ll keep an eye on the oil consumption now as you suggest, and if it’s burning oil I’ll get Paul to do a compression test for me. Thanks for chiming in.
Well, it comes and goes. Probably the early signs of some problem. Paul advised me to keep an eye on it, but nothing urgent. Will need a top end rebuild to fix, which I'll wait for. Keeping an eye on oil level meantime.
