Hi gent's, Been offered a s4r but it only has one black key. Should I avoid at all costs or can something be done about this issue. Obviously I believe the red key allows the ecu to be accessed so if I don't have that key can nothing be changed within the ECU. As the bike would be a dead dud should I have any electrical issues and need to access ECU. Any advice would be great.
The red key is only required for programming new black keys. The existing black key can be cloned to give you a duplicate or at worst the ECU can be reflashed to remove the immobiliser function.
