Snow Foam?

Discussion in 'Detailing and cleaning' started by glenandem, Jul 27, 2025.

  1. hi guys been using some ez car care snow foam that I got cheap a few years ago but reading up I believe bilthammer autofoam I think its called is generally best around?
is that right or anything better about?

  2. Very subjective mate as most are designed as part of a 2 or 3 step process,

if what you have works for you then stick with what you know, I use autobright products and haven’t had any problems with them so stick with what I know

  4. bilt generally seems to be the best available in UK.

i found applying the product correctly was half the problem - you need a constant amount of pressure and a mickey mouse pump-up spray unit only just does the job.

  5. I just find the best deal for 25l and buy it.

The real difference is modding the aerator.

  6. I was using the Bilt Hamber - and really liked it... price kept increasing and swopped to JennyChem (Non Alkaline) - (Snow Storm Non Caustic - £68 for 20L - but quite often they run sales with 20% discount)

it works out around 20% of the cost..... I buy it in 20Litre drums and mix 1 litre to 4 litres of water from my snow foam Cannon. - so get 100L of solution for around the £55 mark. - so around £0.55 a Litre

    The BH is around £83 for 25L - so £3.30 a Litre

Previous Bilt Hamber was neat to get the 4% Panel Ratio.

I would say its about 80% as good as the BH... but like 20% cost.....

    Worth a try!!

Also - The foam Cannon is as important as the Foam.... I fond MTM PF22.2 or now PF22.3 to be the best.
